1800 Series Mini Spring Detangler

This smaller version spring detangler provides a low cost alternative yet is just as effective as our larger 1900 series and 2000 Series spring detanglers. The 1800 Series Detangler comes complete with a convenient staging tray built into the top of the unit. Springs can be fed very quickly and easily into the inlet without any further handling. For added convenience the 1800 Series Detangler weights only 22 pounds and is easily lifted on any side by holding the rim of the spring tray. The unit is very quiet (<72Db) when operating for additional operator comfort. Simply plug it in to a 120 Volt outlet, turn it on and begin detangling springs! It's just that easy. 1800 Series Spring Detangler with optional air return system

1800 series mini detanglers can be configured as an accessory to your feeding system or vibratory bowl. No modification is required to your machine to get rid of tangled springs. All that is needed is a chute or tube to send tangled springs from your vibratory or other feeder system to the intake funnel of the 1800 mini detangler. Springs dropped into the intake will be detangled and transported back into your bowl or feeder, untangled, with a gentle air flow via a return tube as shown above. The system can be conveniently located as a return tube of up to 6 feet long can be furnished. The system operates automatically without the need for sensors or interfacing to the main assembly or process machine PLC. It is quiet and very effective, saving precious time and labor. Your machine "up time" improves greatly due to reduced starvation and system clogging with otherwise tangled springs. The system is easily moved from machine to machine, with fast and easy set up.
