About Us
Premier Tool Works was founded in 1915 and began offering machine shop and machine building services to Chicago's growing manufacturers. Major lines built by Premier in the 20's and 30's are still in operation today! We are still servicing these systems with parts designed 70-80 years ago.
In 1986 Integral Automation Inc., acquired Premier Tool Works bringing with it a full complement of engineering expertise for automation of manufacturing processes. The acquisition catapulted the company into the throws of modern day high speed automation and soldering equipment. Custom machine design and building, became one of the new growth areas for the company, in addition to the machine shop services we offer.
